changelingSo. That Masquerade I'm organising but went strangely quiet about recently as did not have the energy to try and put the poll together that I need in order to start arranging things. IT IS DONE. Please, for the love of god, anyone who's planning on coming, PLEASE ANSWER THIS. I really need this information about who is/may be coming so I know that this thing's a feasible thing to run.
Also, at this stage the venue we get will probably be under-18 friendly; ie no drinking. I am prepared to put up with arguments against this if they are along the lines of I'm prepared to pay more than $50 for a ticket, and I'm bringing 500 friends, and we want a little wine with our dinner, dammit! We will not get drunk. Scout's honour. We will even give you a $400 per person deposit against that very fact. Probably not *quite* as extreme, but I find that people getting drunk *looks significantly in Tych's direction* tends to detract from my enjoyment of this sort of night. Getting rowdily drunk is something we do at New Year's, when we're at someone's place and have Trivial Pursuit to hand.
