I have decided I will be jubilant. Yes, I will, goddammit!

Because if I'm not, I think I'd die inside.

You know what is says in MY bible under Deuteronomy 23:17? "No Israelite, man or woman, is to become a temple prostitute." Apparently this is meant to be one of those anti-gay passages.

Have you ever read Deuteronomy? It's scary. REALLY scary. Try 21:18-21.

Lalalala

Hey, all those Christians trying to condemn gay people from the old part of the bible, why don't you have tassels on the four corners of your clothes? Deuteronomy 22:12 says you should have them. Do you wear mixed blends of fibres? You shouldn't Deuteronomy 21:11 says so.

Burn, burn, burn, maim, kill, destroy. The Bible's FUN! (And really appropriate for the kiddies)

Hmm. I really should be doing homework. But quite frankly, I don't trust any holy book implicitly. And, quite frankly, those who translated the New Testament made a big screw up when they didn't realise that in Greek the term "virgin" originally meant a woman who had not given birth. I learnt that in Classical Mythology. See? I really do learn things, I promise.

I wanna be quixotic. That's such a cool word.

Diarist of the day!: raiNA

Why? Because.

Moo.

I'm so enamoured with this little program. I just went and put on the song that'd been playing in my head for the last ten minutes so I could have the joy of having it autodetected. Heh heh heh...of course, it also saves me the bother of typing it in.

Hey! I'm quixotic, in some sense. I'm impulsive!

1. Caught up in the romance of noble deeds and the pursuit of unreachable goals; idealistic without regard to practicality.
2. Capricious; impulsive: “At worst his scruples must have been quixotic, not malicious” (Louis Auchincloss).

adj : not sensible about practical matters; unrealistic; "as quixotic as a restoration of medieval knighthood"; "a romantic disregard for money"; "a wild-eyed dream of a world state"

And I'm definitely not sensible about practical matters. Yay!

Did you know that although pronounce Quixote "Kee-ho-tay" or similar (not sure of exact pronunciation), you pronounce the X in quixotic? Kwiksotic. Kwik-e-Xotic. Heh, like those drive-thru porn windows. Were they going to be instituted in the US or in Canberra? I can't remember.
