Jun. 19th, 2003 11:21 pmGood god I'm tired. This is why I'm not on AIM.
Bought a Sigur Ros CD today, as I threatened when Mel introduced me to them last night. I was getting all enthused about being obscure-music-girl (now that my friends know who Voltaire is, it's no fun anymore), but my sister had heard of them. Blah.
I don't know the name of the album; it's possibly self-titled. I can't tell. It has very little writing on it. It is all white, with some silver tree designs as the liner notes. Track 5 is ridiculously like Radiohead.
Much love for Sigur Ros, and another thumbed nose at RIAA: I would never have bought this if it weren't for the easy dissemination of MP3s.

Date: 2003-06-19 09:00 pm (UTC)there's a reason why track 5 sounds like radiohead and it's not the reason you'd think - sigur ros toured with radiohead in Britain a few years back and blew thom yorke away... :D
