I've decided that editing ought to be done when it is late and/or one is tired. One is far less likely to consider whether such changes go Against The Author's Vision, and far more likely to just make the damn change and have the author worry about it.

In an I-promise-totally-unrelated note, I'd like to send you a Word document of the Agency piece, Buhfly, love. I've made a few comments in the margins, and also a few deleted or added commas and so forth that would be tedious to write out again. Much easier to just send you a Word document.
