(no subject)

I am attempting to write a talk about comics in general, and Watchmen, Sandman, Hellblazer issue #141 and Transmetropolitan in specific, which I am to give tomorrow. The talk must be brief enough to fit into 10 minutes. I am also attempting to scan the many images I will use. I am filled with hubris.

I am less than halfway.

Woah. Running on fuck-all sleep today. Crashed at *peers at last post* Was it really five? Got up at some ungodly hour of the morning. Only just managed to finish putting the talk together. Am planning on typing it up and coding it in with the images I used (around 40 for a ten-minute talk). I'll post it somewhere useful. Don't know where.

Had terrible panic attacks on the way in, which I don't normally have. My mouth was terribly dry, and remained so through most of the talk. Not pleasant.

Talk went OK. I was reasonably pleased, in that there were no major fuckups, and lots of people asked questions after or in the break. Also, Andrew said that it went well, so that's good.

My back is utterly broken from lugging a laptop and about a third of my comic collection in to class. And I took damn near everything off the shelves for scanning, so now I'll have to put it all back.
