NaNoWriMo is starting to take up my brain. There's only two more days to go before we start. I went to Chadstone today and bought a wee notebook to start writing in. I bought something that was expensive and yet impractical. Well done me. Let it not be said that I can't make entirely nonfunctional impulse buys with the best of 'em. Of course, mine are almost entirely books.

I had the most unlikely conversation today: the girl from whom I was purchasing my required fast food drive-through poison to take to the theatre happened to have been at the first public ritual I was at. She hailed me using our old coven name (before we were reborn from the ashes, as it were), and mentioned the Spiral Dance, which I had lead. We then discussed the fact that she was moving shortly, and why she was working at said fast food restaurant (to save money for her driving licence--her mother had forced her to it), and where she might find five pounds of dried sage, for cleansing purposes. I suggested she might try Esoteric. It was a strange place for such a conversation.

This is the funniest article I've read on NaNo yet. Also, I strongly recommend listening to this if you have RealPlayer, and aren't sick of hearing about NaNo yet. Just think, November hasn't even started yet. You'll be hearing a lot more on a lot of fronts about NaNoWriMo yet.
