I'm in a bad mood.

I think I hate the entirety of the human race.

In other news, after the complete ugliness of both my outfit and experimental hairdo yesterday, I've run out of patience with my stupid froofy hair and cut all the damn stuff off. It looks much better now, if a little Annie-Lennox inspired. There's only so much you can do with stupid curly hair. Amusingly enough, if I comb it the right way, I look like the fifth member of the Beatles.

I hate my hair.


I watched most of Batman Returns tonight, having only missed the beginning. It is the first Batman movie I've seen. Some of it was good, some of it was crap, and I found myself thinking things like:
Sabrina Kyle's transformation into Catwoman shares visual elements with Sandy's transformation in Grease. Discuss.
I frighten myself sometimes.

Selena/Bruce is my new OTP, though. I have such a weakness for impossible love stories. I really want a few screencaps of that moment at the masque.

I also want to see the original Batman with Michael Keaton. After having read The Killing Joke (Alan Moore, Brian Bolland, John Higgins) and Arkham Asylum (Grant Morrison, Dave McKean), I'm more interested in the Joker than I am Catwoman and Penguin. Particularly Arkham Asylum. That is an amazing piece of art. It blows my mind. McKean is so talented...


I have a new hatred of Nat's dad, as he's making me get up even earlier, with his adolescent throwing-out-of-Nat. Fucker.

I'm so tired. Nat's roped me into doing sound op for a show that's going on for the next two weeks. Kinda lucky that Drake are arseholes that aren't employing me, eh?

I want:

A pair of braces, ideally black
Some loose-fitting black pants (two pairs at least)
Some more black t-shirts, both fitted and non-fitted
More socks; I can never have too many pairs of socks.

I will buy them this week. Yes. The braces might be a bit difficult, though... I have no idea where to purchase those. Nat might know--she's good with things like that.

I have just commented in Nice Hair's guestbook, and officially done the internet equivalent to taking over the school sound system, announcing my deep, heart-felt love for the principal, and breaking into a tone-deaf rendition of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. I think the Internet Nazis will be over to take away my precious computer any day now.

BEST THING TODAY: Nat asking to get her fast food "upgraded". She's such a dork. Ahahaha!!

Grr. Argh. Eudora crashed, sending Mozilla Firebird and the rest of my operating system into the abyss... unfortunately including my latest post.

Nat's wedding photos are up. Er, to clarify: the photos Nat took from Chris and Sara's wedding are up.

• Nat, for some reason, took a photo of my back.
• I'm a faiwy pirate pwincess. Jacinta is just disturbing.
• Bearing the last photo in mind, Chris and I really do look like we're related.
• Pwincess closeup. This is what my hair looked like before I hacked it all off. And I'm much happier now, I'm telling you.
• Mim is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful people I know.
• If I recall correctly, this was Jacinta trying to menace me into not taking her photo. It didn't work.
• The next photo. I am sneaky. She did not know her photo was being taken.
• Sara is Too Cute for Words. I did her makeup for the wedding. Go me. Also, she cried a lot. She's so sweet. ^_^

Can't remember most of the rest of the post. It involved me being proud that I'd patched two lights, and missing doing lighting op at Theatreworks, also sincerely hoping that one day I'll learn to program a damn lighting board.

I have printed my Macbeth script, with a very cool font. No one else has cool fonts. They all have Times New Roman. *is smug* I hope I remember to bring it tomorrow... also, I need to get it bound. I'll go to Officeworks in the city, between browsing for braces and black trousers tomorrow. *is determined*

The only thing worse than a 10am call on a Sunday, is a 7am call on a Monday. Good God. That's just inhumane.
