Aug. 20th, 2003 11:23 pmMY COMPUTER IS WORKING AGAIN!!!
You don't understand how much this means to me, but I'm a junkie with a fix now. *curls up in a happy ball*
I've just started reading the backlog from my friends page, and mistook someone for Saxon. In my defence, they have a similar enough username. I read this: " Heading to BiCon. Annoyed that the same weekend hosts both InFest and the first international women's BDSM conference, thus depleting the amount of kinky women and cybertypes at BiCon." and was immensely disturbed. For those of you who know Saxon will join me in my disturbance, I think. And welcome to
NotFudge, the newest of these unfortunates.
"Isn't that a fetish thing?" people ask McNeill when she tells them she wears a corset. "A lot of people can't accept the idea of a normal person wearing a corset."

( I built my own hell. And there's a special place for Howard and Ruddock. )
For non-Aussies, the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), also known affectionately as "Aunty" is the main non-commercial, government-funded television station (the ABC also runs a few radio statioins, including my favourite, Triple J). It has been constantly accused of left-wing bias (a minor irony, considering our gov't, but then it's pretty independant). As Rod Quantock (comedian and activist) once said, "The ABC couldn't balance the right-wing bias in the rest of the media if it was run by Marx and Lenin!"
In response, the Howard Government has drastically reduced the ABC's budget. Tripod was set the gruelling challenge of writing a song-in-an-hour about this, commemorating the kids' news show Behind The News, and the drastic cuts to Foreign Correspondant's budget by combining the two.

Friends=skip 150. Fuckit. I'm going to bed. I feel really sick. Didja miss me?
