Good Zeus above. I've spent the last age working on drawing the Clowntown City Hall. It took me an hour to get one fricking tower done. I'm really hating Gothic architecture at the moment. As beautiful as it is, it's a bitch to draw. It's so detailed. *sigh* I need a real artist.

I used a lot of photo reference (particularly of Melbourne's St Paul's cathedral), and that first tower is looking pretty awesome. I'll post it here when it's done.

Dammit, it's still like rubbing my knuckles with a cheese grater.

Okay, two towers (haha) and part of the front done. Hate the second tower. Have redrawn the roof twice and it still looks wonky.

At this stage I'm seriously considering modelling the whole story out of lego instead.

Okay, Keenspace is being a whiny bitch and won't let me connect. However, Town Hall is done, and Zan can vouch for me here; he's seen it, and thinks it's pretty. So neener. I'll post it here tomorrow (Friday 14th) if Keenspace stops being a bitch.
