Detritus from my day

I just suddenly realised that I've been mispronouncing leitmotif in my head for all my life. I've been pronouncing it "l33tmotif", but as it stems from the German, it should be pronounced "litemotif".

By the way, does anyone know who the "NSA" are from today's BMB?

I'm reading people's assessments of the US version of QAF, and have decided I really am not missing much. That having been said, Nat and I need to watch the rest of Julian's UK QAF so we can return it to him.

Am I one of the only people on the planet who thinks that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair's kiss on Cruel Intentions was one of the unsexiest things I've ever seen? Not quite up with Warwick Cappa, but close.

Alright. Yesterday I got two addresses, and I got two more today. I'm excited!

Kat's I got in the morning, so her letter's all written. I have to get an envelope and post that. Three more letters to go...including one to an American who lives in Birmingham, which threw me completely. What the hell is America doing with a Birmingham? That's just such a quintessentially British city...

Anyway. I should get dressed, put my clothes away and tidy my room a bit and then head into uni for Principles of Editing and Publishing.


Oh, and by the way, to those of you legends who've actually sent me your addresses, you're not expecting literature, I hope. It'll mostly be stream of consciousness stuff.
