Okay, when reconnoitring people who've just added you to their friends list, you don't expect something like this. That's incredibly funky! I want to know who this Dan is, of whom they speak. Knowing we actually have fans almost inspires me to get my arse back in gear with the supposed M-W-F schedule I'm supposed to be keeping.

Actually, I probably should. I hate to think of the fact that we have enough people reading the comic to form a lynch mob should I not update frequently enough.

I might spend this Sunday getting some done in advance. Yes.

And for this month, we went from an average of about 200 hits a day to 4175 for yesterday/todayish (we Australians are in a diff timezone to you Americans, so I know it really means today). I'm going to hazard a guess here and say that it was Sandra linking to us in her journal. Sure, she may not have four thou page linky things by her LJ address, but there are a lot of "friends" pages there...

I feel so special. :)

I got two scarily thick envelopes today. One from the uni, telling me I was going to have to go see the "You're doing crap" committee (can't remember their real name) to try to convince them to let me stay. The other was from work, with my next month's roster. I was really hoping that was going to come out next week. So now I have to try to negotiate with my work colleagues so I am not working when I have performances next month.

Good god, I'm dead.

I just came across a link to Wackiness on the BMB mailing list. I feel all special. And kinda famous. It's weird...like picking up the morning paper and unexpectedly seeing a picture of yourself of the front. Very cool.

Anyway.

*pokes at old emails in her inbox* I have one from TheSpark.com. Its subject title is "Is this loser Liam right for you?"
Hmph. He might be a loser, but he's *my* loser. And I'm *his* loser. And Nat's. So neener, TheSpark. Ctrl+P+Print...I mean, Delete. :)

Oh, Liam? How d'you like this for a tagline: "Wackiness Ensues: Clever political satire! Or maybe puppies. We'll see what we have the budget for."

Did you know that both the word hartebeest and wildebeest comes from obsolete Afrikaans, which in turn comes from Middle Dutch? They translate as "deer-beast" and "wild-beast" respectively, and I suspect they've lost a little something in translation. :)

Shit, it's 6am (almost) and I was going to go to bed early. Oops. G'night, all.
