Okay, when reconnoitring people who've just added you to their friends list, you don't expect something like this. That's incredibly funky! I want to know who this Dan is, of whom they speak. Knowing we actually have fans almost inspires me to get my arse back in gear with the supposed M-W-F schedule I'm supposed to be keeping.

Actually, I probably should. I hate to think of the fact that we have enough people reading the comic to form a lynch mob should I not update frequently enough.

I might spend this Sunday getting some done in advance. Yes.

I'll explain -- Dan is my boyfriend. He's not a celebrity, not a divine being, and not a big Whoop-De-Doo in the online world. (Except he is to me. :)

That's spunky. *grins* It was more the fact that I thought I knew all my readers - there are my "real life" friends, and twelveeyes, and my sister. Oh, and Vincent, who sent fan art, and Dark Prophet from the forum. And Sandra, occasionally.

So therefore the fact that he's completely unknown to me makes it even funkier. I had a reader I never knew I had!

Okay, I'll stop the pride-thingie now. *whaps self over the head* See? back to normal. *grins*

Yeah, but...that was a once-off thing, cos Sandra, she of the huge cult following, linked to me in her journal.

And I'm in Melbourne. Never been to Adelaide, though I have an ex-boyfriend who goes (went?) to uni there (He's a Melburnite too). He said it's a hole, and there's nothing to do there except drink. Still, at least it's not Queensland! (Says the girl who was born in Queensland, to QLDian parents, and whose entire extended family live in QLD.)

Only kidding. *grins*

Hmm. Melburnite looks like a spelling error. It isn't. Stupid dropped vowel... (she's making a vowel movement!)

I never drink when I'm part of a cast -- just being in the theatre puts me on such a high that alcohol would be both dangerous AND wacky. :)

You can rest assured - it was about an hour before call, and two to three hours before we went on stage. (Prolly on the higher end, seeing as I was only in Act 2.) Not only that, it was one lousy yellow Galliano and...lemonade? Or something. That stuff is just not as good as white or black Galliano. I don't think I finished it.

Ooh, I'm such a dangerous binge drinker. *grins*

He found you in the GaySpace pulldown I have on my comic site. He has far too much spare time, due to gross laziness, so I tend to let him do the exploring, and just take advantage of the good things he sometimes discovers. :)

I love the Gayspace dropdown. It's how I found Pantheon and Jackie's Fridge (and consequently Tonja Steele).

Gayspace is the only dropdown that I've tried that generates any traffic! FreshKeen was useless, and the Canadian Keen was only good for adding some patriotism to my site. :)
