I'm still under the weather from this evil cold thing I picked up during Relic, to the point where I left a message on the fridge last night that I wanted to borrow one of my parents' Medicare cards so I could take myself to the doctor.

So what do I do when Anthea calls me (and I still haven't gotten out of bed) at one and asks me to cover Liane's shift tonight? I agree. So now I have a 7 hour shift at work, when I should really be doing uni work. The irony is that I'll probably get more done at work (provided we have a nice quiet night) than I would at home.

I've tried looking on the bright side re: getting money, but having money is mostly fun when you have someone to spend it on. And considering I don't have a girlfriend, I don't get to have warm fuzzy feelings thinking of where we'll go on the seventy dollars or so I'll earn tonight. *sigh* Maybe I'll just put it aside and finally put in the order for the BMB t-shirts. (Yay!)
