May. 14th, 2003 08:58 pmMy parents have just told me that I have to pay $100 a week board.
I only have six weeks work. I was hoping to save some money towards taking a small trip of about a week or so later this year. I wanted to put some money aside for travelling overseas. I wanted to put money away for moving out.
And now I have to pay $100 a fricking week. That was on the higher end of what Issy and I were looking at when I was going to MOVE OUT.
So now, I have all the fricking irritations of living at home, with none of the benefits, ie free board.
I have to live with the rest of my family, including my mother, when all I want to do is live in a tiny flat by myself in Thornbury.
I have to spend $100 to stay in this poxy house where I have few rights, and my parents feel free to come into my room and throw away half my stuff without so much as a by-your-leave. They say I have too much stuff? It wouldn't be if I had a fricking flat to keep it in, instead of ONE TINY FUCKING ROOM!
They say they'll give some of it back when I move out... in the same way that they paid for me to move out when I started uni? Because I remember that was promised, and that never fucking eventuated.
If you'll excuse me, I'm going off to cry.
