"Those you betrayed have forgotten you."
"Oh. I hope they haven't. I hope they still remember me."
"Evan said he doesn't love you. He's in the car. I could ask him."

- strange dreams in which I come across a girl from my first high school (Ann-Marie) who is inexplicably going out with an ex of mine (Evan) from the era of my second high school. And no, I couldn't even broadly be interpreted as having "betrayed" Evan. Phil, perhaps, but not Evan. He was the betrayer in our relationship.

I slept in today, and am trying to salvage the wreckage of the godawful invocation thingie I was writing yesterday. I think I need to completely rewrite the verse-tune, and the first verse's words. Hopefully it'll then be less painful. *sigh*

I was reading an entry on Odin from Wikipedia for research, and at the bottom I come across the following:
Odin (and Loki) are main characters in a novel by Neil Gaiman called American Gods.
Talk about up-to-date!

I had to get Nat's bag from my car to give her some notes she needed. I started reading The Right to Write while I have it, and I wrote two and a half pages of the Victorian Clock story.

I got a load of blacks done and out on to the line. I got a load of whites washed (although I only remembered about them an hour or so ago, and damned if I'm going to go put washing out on the line at two in the morning when I can't see).

I made something nice for dinner. I think that in retrospect I would have used a different salad dressing, though; the one I used was bitter and tasty, but considering the vinegary nature of the steak's marinade, I think was overpowering. All done without a recipe, though.
