changelingSo: brief stopover in an internet cafe today. Dad says he'd "prefer if we didn't spend more than 30 minutes" here, and so my friends list will have to be put aside for the moment. Maybe I can try to read some of it when I get back.
Got up here on Sunday after ridiculously long train and bus trip. I hate margarine.
Yesterday everyone went to the beach, and I discovered exactly how many types of painful that can be with a stupid sprained ankle. Did teach the siblings and the Marshalls how to play Bartok, though, so day wasn't a complete waste. I was at my wits' end as everyone's sick of every card game that they know. The Marshalls and Nyssa refuse to come to the pool and play Marco Polo with me, which pisses me off.
Got board shorts today. I'm planning on drawing a picture of the Wackiness lot at the beach if I can be arsed. Maybe just me, Laim and Nat. Depends if I can think of amusing costumes for everyone else.
Was virtuous yesterday evening and swam around the prepubescent boys that infested the pool and refused to let Kara and me play Marco Polo with them. Bastards.
Nys and I went to an Op Shop today and found a Leo diCaprio scrapbook - an entire book devoted to good old Leo lovin'. 'Twas pretty amusing, so we bought it. We also bought a record Nadia's Theme (The Young and the Restless), which looked like it was about that gymnast, Nadia *cough*Don't know her surname*cough*. Rosemary and Virginia should appreciate that.
It's weird being around people (the Marshalls) who don't know I'm gay. I swear to god, if Steven tells me one more time that the guys in the nearby tent are desperate for girlfriends, I'll be almost tempted to tell him I'm gay. Almost.
Okay, we've apparently only got eight minutes before we have to go. Um... bye, have a good rest of the week, and drop me a comment some time!
