The name Annette? Ick. Anyone called Annette deserves everything they get.

added to my list of names i'll never name my kids. (well i would if i had a list.. but that hasn't gotten around to being written yet)
so far on the list in my head:
rebecca, hayley, samantha, rachel, sarah... basically any *common* name.
god, i'm such a name snob. i'm going to give my kid some obscure name that no one can pronounce just to show that i can.

Good idea, but then said child will grow up frustrated with humanity, after 14 or so years of school ruined by teachers' "interesting" interpretations of said obscure name.

nys (Nyssa) and I have grown up with that, too. And yet... even after that... would I name my child Susan? Hell no.

Thanks for the encouragement...my writer's block in this case was not knowing what the plot was. Unfortunately this is a reasonably-plotted book.

If some miracle occurs and I have children, I hope they're girls. I have some brilliant names picked out - Avarice, Anathema...I had others, but I can't remember them.
