Sep. 2nd, 2002 01:44 amDid I mention? New Wackiness is up. Yay.
So. I'm not sure whether I mentioned in my actual LJ, but I've been planning on resigning for some time.
Dear Anthea,
I am writing to offer my resignation from [work], giving two weeks notice effective Mon 2/9, with my last shift therefore being 14/9.
I have enjoyed my time at TMC and apologise for the bad timing. My leaving is due to a number of factors; the distance I have to travel, the difficulty of balancing work and uni, the difficulty of the occasional last minute roster changes, and the general feeling that it's time to do something new. I am also aware that my timetable is more mutable and likely to change on comparatively short notice than anyone else's at TMC, and I know that this is perhaps at times incompatible with the ethos of the staff. I'm sure you will find an employee more suited to TMC's current position than I am at this stage.
Wish you all the best for the future. Kindest regards,
Danika.
So what do people think? I should really email it tonight. I feel like a bit of a cad, though...
