The phrases "I need to have a chat with you" or "I need to have a talk with you" raises my hackles. Don't use those phrases if you just want a friendly talk with me.

This is coming from Anth or someone else? David used to say that to me and I'd freak out, and then it'd turn out he was asking for something, and in my relief I would have said yes to anything. Devious!

This particular one was from Mum, but Carol's (a friend) used those words to me before, not realising that it sends me into a panic attack. :)

You should come visit Jan and me tonight if you're free. We're the only ones there from 5, and she'd like to see you again. Me included, of course. :)

Buggrit I didn't get your message, went out for dinner+film with Mary instead - saw Dragonfly, it's solid and entertaining and ate cake *ouch* tummy hurts but licorice tea is on its way to solving that.

This is why I usually say "talk some shit," "have a conversation," or even, recently, "shoot the breeze." Not weight behind those phrases.

That's pretty cool...that's almost like notoriety! *grins*

I'm working on the illustrations in my spare time, which at the moment constitutes about negative 45 hours per week...I haven't even had the time to update Wackiness, which sucks severely.

I have the beginnings of a layout on my desk, and it's one of the things that I would love to do when I start to have time, which should be soon with any luck. :(

So I'm afraid you'll just have to be patient for a week or two... :)
