Very different. I think of asexual, more along the lines of not quite male/female. A singular gender-orientated species. Sort of like... girls who look like guys, or guys who look somewhat feminine. Almost androgynous.
My meaning was "not interested in sex", which is how Sandra describes him. This discussion also took place on the BMB message board. There are a multiplicity of definitions.
