Morrising about the garden beds
Jul. 6th, 2008 06:31 pmI am sick. Steph has roiling oceans of gunge in her eye. She is also uploading the awesome photos of our trip. We went out last night to Hedda's place, where she cooked awesome potatoes and onions (OK, and other things aside). I also brought LAMINGTONS, OMG. The first I've ever made by hand. They were vegan AND gluten-free. It was also the first vegan sponge I've made, which was cool. Actually, the first sponge full stop.
These facts have nothing to do with each other. I do wish I had another lamington and some fried potatoes and onions right now, though.
I found the most awesome Jeeves & Wooster crossover with Wimsey called Green Ice. I'm only just reading the first part of it, but the concept is pure AWESOME. I've also read the sequelish bit called Armistice. I just finished The Nine Tailors again today, so it's just what the doctor ordered.
