changelingI think I'm drunk.
The only thing so far we've found to successfully stop my rampant coughs and bastard sore throat is a measure of rum, lemon juice, and honey. Thank Causabon for that one. Sure, I could be buying cough syrup, but I've spent enough on the fifteen different medicines I've been on already, and we have these three things in the house. And among the things I don't have in my bank account at the moment is money.
Only, only ... I'm not really much of a drinker these days. And even though I'm only having about a teaspoon, maybe a tablespoon at a time, apparently I'm drunk. On my first sip for three hours. It's leading to the same slighly unpleasant sensation of having iodine injected for a CT scan, only not so bad.
Woo.
In other news, one of my authors is critiquing my typesetting. And bitching about every little word taken out. Since I'm pretty sure I'd remember, this means she's blaming me for the proofreader being inexperiencedand on crack.
