Jun. 28th, 2005 11:23 amAccording to Dr. Rodu, a leading pathologist studying cancer and tobacco, it’s the burning and inhaling of tobacco that creates most carcinogens. Many specialists feel that, for health reasons, if you are going to use tobacco, you are better off with a smokeless tobacco, like nasal snuff.

I know I'd be much happier if the smokers in my life switched to snuff. Far less offensive for those of us around them.
AAAH! MUST GET OFFLINE! HAVE THINGS TO DO! BAGS TO PACK!
I'm going to Rye, where Jess has a holiday house. I'll be there until tomorrow, and we're gonna have us some mad, novel-working-on fun times.

2. Both my brothers "chewed". If I could accurately describe to you the feeling of having the lukewarm, slimy contents of an overflowing spittoon wash across your bare feet as you trip over it in the dark on your way to the bathroom at 3.00 am, you would pick the smoky room anyday. People that chew spit. a lot. if they don't have a spittoon to fill to overflowing, they will use whatever is handy. empty beer cans are handy.
you ever see someone's face as they suddenly realize that the "Coors" they are drinking is not, in fact, their beer, but a diabolically planted mimic full of "Juice"?
if you do (see someone's face at that point in their life), RUN. projectile vomiting is just around the corner.

Date: 2005-06-29 05:43 am (UTC)Frankly, if people are going to ingest tobacco and court cancer, I'd much rather they inhaled via snuff than filled my lungs with smoke, as it sparks my asthma. Perhaps that's selfish, but hey. It's not my bad habit.
