First, I managed to forget to take my nosering out. Normally I probably wouldn't bother, but normally I'm not wearing a big fuck-off ring, I'm wearing a stud.
Second, they're like, "What do you know about alcohol, apart from drinking it?" and I'm all, "Uhhh..." I mean, I know to serve red at room temperature, and white chilled, and that white goes with poultry and fish (if I recall correctly, though I probably don't), and generally desserts and red would be drunk with red meat and so forth, and that you can get bubblies in both varieties, though bubbly red's only become popular again after a long time. And that it comes in bottles, and is stored on a tilt to keep the cork wet. I should've asked my flist for a crash course. Whoops.
Third, I don't have an RSA - Responsible Serving of Alcohol. I thought you just need one to work in a bar, but no.
So basically in order for me to get the job, everyone else who hands their resumes in have to be dribbling imbeciles. So I have a fifty-fifty chance, then...
