Was late to D&L, as per usual. Got there by ten (had a nine ay-em start), but would have been there at quarter to, had Connex not been the irritating bitch it usually is. Can't help but think of The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul:

"[Dirk's client] would just have to see reason about that as well. Six-thirty was clearly a preposterous time and he, the client, obviously hadn't meant it seriously. A civilised six-thirty to twelve noon was almost certainly what he had in mind [...]" (pardon any punctuation missteps, as am quoting from audiobook as do not have real book)

We apparently have four thingies due in the next couple of weeks in D&L: the poster that I would have finished had I not changed my mind halfway through, the DL brochure which I have just got a new idea for, something else I can't recall but have probably written down somewhere, and a newspaper ad, which gets to be a column's width by half a column height by the standards of The Age, Melbourne's broadsheet. It's a stupid size.

Still, got the illustration for the poster (advertising the Hashishim, and a complementary poster to Greg's on Seppuku) drawn, and am quite proud of it. Met up with Jess & she and Greg looked over the latest thousand words or so from SBs, including the New & Improved fight scene.

I'm sure I had content for this post, but I'm tired and so will have to search for it in the morning.
