Dec. 19th, 2001 06:26 amAfter an intensive plot workshop this afternoon (read: I had some KFC and bummed around with Liam, Nat and Sarah), I had ten to twelve more ideas for the comic strip I've been tossing around in my head. When my internet died early this morning, I got out my pencil, eraser, sharpener and paper and got to work.
Although I find drawing very difficult, I did actually do a graphic arts class in early high school. I learnt the beauty of light tables. Unfortunately, I don't have a light table. What I have is a glass-topped coffee table and a torch.
So, after all that scanning in and colouring, I had the templates for a no-art comic strip. I have done three comic strips and signed up with Keenspace. It'll take about four weeks for it to be processed, so I suppose I'll spend the intervening time doing as many strips as I can. Laim and I decided we'd update three times a week, so I've done one week's worth already.
I'm so proud.
