I stole this from [livejournal.com profile] rdaughe966's journal - someone had sent them a random IM.
God wants to give you a free gift that will last forever. Now let me lead you in a small prayer to receive this free gift. Just read these words out loud, say them with your mouth, but it needs to come from your heart to God. "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I believe that You are the Son of God and You died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins, I believe you rose again from the dead to give me eternal life, and a home in heaven. Come into my heart Lord Jesus, forgive my sins. I receive You as my Lord and Savior this very moment. Thank You for saving me, Lord Jesus! Amen."

Nat, is it just me, or is there the beginning of a performance piece here?

So, on to the ubiquitous quiz.

I am terrifyingly evil!

I'm so worried. And here am I presuming I'd get Artist... I mean, I'm only writing and drawing a webcomic, writing a novel (among other things) drawing random things, acting in a play, helping (a little) to produce a play for next semester, singing and dancing to amuse myself...

What I'm really worried about is that I thought I was being prejudiced towards Artist and away from my inherent evil within.

I don't get to go see Episode Two on Monday with everyone else, because I have a cue-to-cue. *pouts* My play's opening this week. *sweaty palms*

I wish I had a car, and a proper licence. I would have gone to see Ep 2 last night, when I had an uncontrollable urge to drive to Chadstone and watch a movie.

Okay, Linkies for Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets.

* Peterson from Red Dwarf (Mark Williams) is playing Arthur Weasley. The same actor played opposite Hugh Laurie (from Blackadder, Jeeves & Wooster etc) in the 101 Dalmations movie as the two villians.

* Julian Glover is providing the voice of Aragog. Glover is also known as Henry Trace, to those who I've forced to watch The Killings at Badger's Drift.

* Miriam Margolyes is playing Professor Sprout. She's also appeared in The Black Adder (as the Spanish Infanta), Blackadder II (as Lady Whiteadder), Blackadder's Christmas Carol (Queen Victoria) and Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet (the Nurse).

* It looks like Gormenghast, the mini filmed in 2000 is the one to check out. As well as Fiona Shaw (Petunia Dursley), it also boasts Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch) and Richard Griffiths (Vernon Dursley). Non-Potter actors include Spike Milligan and Stephen Fry. Fry of course is well known for appearing in projects with Hugh Laurie (mentioned above), including Blackadder (as has Miriam Margolyes), Jeeves and Wooster and A Bit of Fry and Laurie.

* Elizabeth Spriggs (who plays The Fat Lady in Philosopher's Stone), is perhaps more notable for her role as the Duchess in the appalling adaptation of Alice in Wonderland that Miranda Richardson kicked arse in, but also for her appearance as the very creepy Iris Rainbird in the aforementioned Killings at Badger's Drift (actually an episode from the Midsomer Murders), which, you'll remember Aragog/Julian Glover was in, as Henry Trace. I think it's also worth mentioning that she was also in a 1999 version of A Christmas Carol with Richard E. Grant and Joel Grey, who you'll remember was the MC in Cabaret. Richard E. Grant, of course, was in Gosford Park with Stephen Fry and Maggie Smith, who plays Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies.

* Julie Walters, who's playing Molly Weasley has been in quite a lot of things with notable English comedienne Victoria Wood, including her series Dinnerladies which was shown on the ABC. Victoria Wood had a hilarious cameo in The Wind in the Willows (1996); as did Stephen Fry as the Judge who sentences Toad. You would also have noticed John Cleese as Toad's lawyer. Cleese, is of course, playing Nearly Headless Nick in HP.

* Speaking of the ghosts in HP, Rik Mayall was scheduled to play Peeves, the poltergeist, but it seems all his scenes from Philosopher's Stone were cut. Rik Mayall has had recurring cameos in Blackadder as Flashheart (and Robin Hood in Blackadder: Back and Forth). Speaking of Blackadder connections, Tim McInnerny, who plays Lord Percy Percy, was also in 101 Dalmations along with Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley). Tony Robinson is one of the two good readers of Terry Pratchett's audio books. The other is Nigel Planer, who played the Car Salesman in The Wind in the Willows. Planer was also in The Young Ones with Rik Mayall.

* Slightly off topic, Richard Curtis, who co-wrote Blackadder, also wrote a movie called Four Weddings and a Funeral. Among the cast are Rowan Atkinson (of Blackadder) and Kristin Scott Thomas, who's also in Gosford Park. KST was also in Richard the III (1995), along with Maggie Smith and Tim McInnerny. Jim Broadbent was also in it. Broadbent played Prince Albert to Margolyes' Queen Victoria in Blackadder's Christmas Carol, and was in Enchanted April with Miranda Richardson, who was also in Blackadder's Christmas Carol. Robbie Coltrane played the Spirit of Christmas, and of course plays Hagrid in Harry Potter. Coltrane also played Tweedledum in Alice in Wonderland (1999), which, you may recall, Miranda Richardson was in. Peter Ustinov played the Walrus in this adaption, and also played Poirot in a number of movies (notably Evil Under the Sun and Death on the Nile) that Maggie Smith was also in.

Think I'll end it here. Believe me when I say I could go on further. I love IMDB.
