Online friends rock. First

fallofrain writes an entry about why she likes her online friends (mentioning names), and then I get a surprise birthday card from
skylark97.
roshi made me a valentine.
sandradelete got all SQUEEE-y and happy about today's comic, which I was starting to hate by the time I put it up at about half one this morning. (But still...I got Tybalt all to myself while I was creating it. *Pats Tybalt and purrs* Preeeetty.)
My real-life friends rock too. They don't even need to do anything special; just being around is enough.
Sarah put up with a lot of flak from me around our breakup, but we've gotten through that and moved on.
Liam has been around and been there for me for so long. He makes me laugh. I can make him laugh. He probably knows me best out of all my friends, although
Nat probably comes very close.
Nat is just a wonderfully buoyant person. She can be very quiet, but I know all of
coffee group love her (Yes, we have our own LJ community. Ph34r our intense geekiness).
Saxon won't read this, but over the last year I feel that we've all come to know him a lot better, and consequently love him much more too.
Tycho is....Tycho. And we're all much happier knowing that, I'm sure.
Sara and
Carol I haven't known very long at all, but already I feel like I've known them my whole life. Luisa I've met twice, and I'm greatly looking forward to getting to know her better over the next while (in the
literal sense, Tych). I love my sister
Nyssa. She's an amazing person with a great wry sense of humour. I like to think that she got it from me. *grins*
I feel very happy that people are finding
Wackiness Ensues funny and that they're enjoying it. We're just here to spread the love around. I consider myself a writer, so the fact that no-one has derided me for my artwork very reassuring. It's not as complex or detailed as I would like, but I find drawing incredibly difficult.
And just general comment to
all of you; you all rock. Don't change a thing. Or change, if you want to. That's good too. Love you all.
That ended up being a much longer post than I had anticipated, but I think this is just a general thanksgiving. I'm incredibly happy with the shape my life is at the moment. Yes, stuff happens that I don't enjoy, but I think I'm much happier with myself and the people around me than I was even two years ago. I love you all, and I mean that.
