I am totally going to buy a corset from mawaridi when I have money. Or get her to help me draft a pattern. Or something. That way I will get my new corsets as per my wishlist. My current corset, beautiful though it is, is starting to show signs of wear, and the boning is threatening to break through the outer fabric in several places, so methinks 'tis time to retire it from active service, as soon as possible. Hence the need for new corsets.

One of the reasons I hate summer is tangential to the heat - I cannot wear the clothes I should like. The clothes maketh the man, as the saying goes, and summer strips me of my self-identity. There ought to be corsetry for summer wear. The fabric could be reasonably breathable, and it could be only lightly boned, like the Regency corset I opened my browser to get the link for, before getting totally distracted and forgetting all about it.


These are so glasses that Crowley would wear.


Realised tonight that I forgot to put a Moleskine on the wishlist. Ah well. They're expensive anyway, and I will just have to Save Up (like everything else in my life at the moment) and hope that work gives me enough shifts that I can spare the expense after Christmas. I suppose it's not all that urgent anyway.

I must remember to text or phone alanafish tomorrow to try and find out what's going on. I might start with a text. Don't want to be a bother if it's just a small issue.

I seem to be acquiring a cold. Sneezing down one's cleavage is most off-putting.
